In August of 1999 we took a trip to check out a couple of Civil War Battlefields. We visited Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and Antietam, Maryland. Both were very impressive. Click on the buttons at the top of this page to see some of the images we saw. Included will be links to other Civil War web sites that will elaborate on the history of these sacred grounds.
