Twenty miles due west of Old Mackinac Point, MI Built in 1910, this lighthouse replaced a lightship that had been stationed here since 1891. The light was automated in 1976.

West of the Straights of Mackinac, MI Built in 1851, this lighthouse has been abandoned since 1912. During WWII, the US Navy used this lighthouse for target practice. They used warhead-less shells. Note the Mackinac Bridge in the background, to the left of the light.

St. Helena Island, MI Built in 1873, this lighthouse is located near what once was a very prosperous town. The town, as well as all of it's buildings, have long since disappeared. The lighthouse was automated in 1923. In 1989, the Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers association and the Boy Scouts of America began a restoration project that has greatly improved the condition and appearance of the lighthouse.

Ludington North Breakwater Light Ludington, MI Built in 1924, this lighthouse was being worked on in 1994 and suddenly shifted six inches to the right. It retains it's list to this day.
